Intermediate Ride

I am new to mountain biking. I am comfortable riding very easy single trail but I don’t know how to handle switchbacks (sharp/steep corners), and am unsure negotiating obstacles.	I’ve been riding for more than a year. I’m confident on most trails, easier root and rock gardens, smaller drops, switchbacks and berms but am nervous doing bigger drops and clearing jumps.	I am very experienced and have been riding for a number of years. I love speed and descend quickly through rock and root gardens. I can clear drops and gap jumps with great confidence.

Your Lifestyle	You’re relatively fit and comfortable with hills that are short and not too steep, but like it to be mostly flat. You want to ride on your vacation, but not every day.	You ride your bike on a regular basis. You enjoy an active lifestyle with an occasional physical challenge. You don’t mind climbing bigger hills but like a break in between.	Fitness is central to your life. You ride your bike on a weekly basis, and are comfortable with rides of 3 hours or more. You like a physical challenge.	You ride your mountain bike an average of 150km per week and enjoy a solid pace for an extended period of time. You love to train, improve, and compete.
